Ably Opens Global Fulfillment Center in Seoul for K-Fashion

Seoul, South KoreaAbly announced plans on Wednesday to establish a global fulfillment center in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong district for the international distribution of Korean fashion products.

The facility, scheduled for completion this month, will be situated within a one-minute walk of the company’s existing 3,000-pyeong (9,917 square meter) logistics center, according to Ably.

The new center will exclusively manage global shipments, separating international operations from domestic logistics for the first time.

Ably stated that the Seongsu-dong location was selected for its proximity to the Dongdaemun wholesale markets.

Most logistics centers are located outside of Seoul or in Gyeonggi Province, according to the company.

Ably cited increased international transaction volumes via its Japanese service, Amood, as the reason for expanding global fulfillment capacity. Amood reportedly has 18,000 registered markets.

Product sales volume through Amood was 3.6 times higher in June 2025 compared to June 2024, according to the company. First-half transaction volume for Amood grew by 50 percent year-over-year.

The center will initially serve Japan, with plans to expand to Taiwan and additional markets, the company stated.

Ably stated that the facility will provide domestic sellers with access to global markets and facilitate delivery of Korean products to international customers.

“With increased attention on Korean sellers both domestically and internationally, this global fulfillment center is expected to accelerate international expansion for small and medium-sized sellers, including those in emerging markets,” said Seokhoon Kang, chief executive of Ably.

Ably operates a digital platform focused on distributing Korean fashion.
