Seoul, South Korea—CLO Virtual Fashion, a global digital fashion solutions provider, announced on Monday that it has secured KRW50 billion (US$34.8 million) in new funding from investors, including Atinum Investment and IMM Investment.
Established in 2009, the company specializes in 3D garment simulation algorithms that enable digital clothing design, management, and collaboration services.
The Seoul-based firm's core offerings include two flagship software products: "CLO" for 3D garment design and "Marvelous Designer."
The company has also launched specialized platforms, including "CLO-SET," which integrates garment data management, sharing, communication, and production, and "CONNECT," a marketplace for trading 3D digital fashion assets and portfolio management.
CLO Virtual Fashion has established a significant market presence with global fashion brands, including Hugo Boss, Nike, Arc'teryx, H&M, Levi's, Decathlon, and Mango, implementing its 3D digital work processes.
The technology has also gained traction in the film and CG industry.
In February, the company became the first Korean firm to receive a Scientific and Technical Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The company said that fresh capital would be deployed to strengthen CLO's ecosystem.
It aims to create a seamless connection between ideation, design, production, marketing, and consumption processes in garment creation.
