COMEUP 2024: Korea's Largest Startup Event Opens Registration
Seoul, South Korea - Online registration for COMEUP 2024, South Korea's largest startup event, opened Monday for the December 11-12 conference at COEX in Seoul.
The event, organized by Korea Startup Forum (KSF), will run until December 9 and is open to startup founders, employees, investors, entrepreneurs, and the general public.
KSF will randomly select 40 applicants who register by November 3 to receive food delivery service coupons.
The business matching program, "On the COMEUP," has facilitated 2,334 matches. This year's program has registered approximately 2,000 startups and 200 investors.
COMEUP 2024 will feature multiple tracks, including "Future Talk," which focuses on global and deep tech topics, and "Tech Talk," which introduces new technologies from international companies.
The event will also include "Startup Valley," showcasing public IR pitching from COMEUP Stars 2024, consisting of 50 innovative companies selected from 1,208 applicants across two leagues.
The Runners League for prospective entrepreneurs will feature ten teams, while the Rookie League for early-stage startups will showcase 30 teams.
The top three teams from the Rookie League will be able to participate in VivaTechnology 2025 in France.
COMEUP 2024 will also host side events, including the "2024 Today's Traditional Entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony" and demo days by various organizations.
Han Sang-woo, Chairman of KSF and Advisory Committee Chairman of COMEUP 2024, said, "COMEUP 2024 will be a global festival where you can encounter startup innovations that transcend national and industrial boundaries in one place."
The previous year's event attracted 66,000 visitors, establishing COMEUP as a prominent global startup festival.
