Seoul, South Korea / Paris, FranceWomen's travel platform NomadHer has secured KRW 1.5 billion (US$1.02 million) in pre-Series A funding from the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Chungnam-NCK Tourism Investment Fund, and K-Bridge Investment.

The Paris-based app, which connects verified female travelers, boasts 300,000 users, with 98% concentrated in Western Europe and North America.

Investors were attracted by female travelers' spending power and potential expansion into hotels, insurance, e-SIM, and beauty commerce sectors.

The company, which won the UN World Tourism Organization's social impact award in 2023, plans to launch curated experiences across Asia-Pacific destinations in 2025, including surfing programs in Busan and female diver camps in Jeju.

NomadHer will represent Seoul's tourism technology sector at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, culminating in a planned gathering of 1,000 female travelers at Paris's Station F in September 2025.
