Hyundai-NVIDIA Alliance Advances AI-Powered Vehicle Development

Las Vegas, NV—Hyundai Motor Group and NVIDIA announced a strategic partnership to develop artificial intelligence and industrial digital twin technologies for smart mobility applications at the CES trade show in Las Vegas.

The partnership focuses on integrating NVIDIA's accelerated computing and generative AI technologies into Hyundai's software-defined vehicles, robotics, and manufacturing operations.

Hyundai Motor Group will utilize NVIDIA's data-center computing infrastructure to process data for AI model training and autonomous vehicle software development.

The collaboration includes implementing NVIDIA's Omniverse platform, which runs on OVX systems for digital twin applications.

This technology will enable Hyundai to create simulated environments for testing autonomous driving systems under various weather and traffic conditions.

Hyundai will develop digital twin applications using Omniverse technologies to optimize production quality and efficiency for manufacturing operations.

The company will employ NVIDIA Isaac Sim, a robotics simulation framework, to train industrial robots in virtual environments before deploying them in manufacturing facilities.
