KREAM Launches Korean Fashion Brand STAND OIL in Indonesia Through Pop-up Store
Jakarta, Indonesia—The South Korean limited-edition trading platform KREAM has commenced operations in the Indonesian market by inaugurating a pop-up store for the fashion brand STAND OIL in Jakarta's Central Park Mall.
This marks the brand's inaugural foray into the Southeast Asian market.
The four-week pop-up store commenced operations on October 11.
It depleted its month-long inventory within five days, necessitating emergency restocking and air bulk shipping.
The venture is operated in collaboration with Kick Avenue, which serves as KREAM's Indonesian investment partner in the limited-edition trading platform sector.
Stand Oil, renowned for its designer-quality products within the $100 price range, achieved sales of 20 billion won within four years of its 2018 launch.
KREAM provided comprehensive services for the brand's global expansion, including cross-border logistics management, payment solutions, and local pop-up installation and operations.
The launch was accompanied by a notable increase in local engagement, as evidenced by a more than 50-fold surge in STAND OIL's keyword traffic on Indonesian Google Trends before the store's opening.
The marketing campaign included strategic partnerships with Indonesia's largest financial institution, BCA, influencer collaborations, and media coverage.
