KREAM Reports Record Revenue Amid Expansion into Luxury Market
Seoul, South Korea / Tokyo, Japan- South Korean limited-edition trading platform KREAM reported annual revenue of KRW 297.6 billion ($203.1 million) for 2024, its highest ever.
The figure includes revenue from the Japanese subsidiary SODA, which became a consolidated subsidiary in 2024.
KREAM's standalone revenue rose 45.3% to KRW 177.5 billion from the previous year.
The platform operator reported its first positive EBITDA of KRW 1.9 billion for domestic operations while cutting its operating loss by 78% to approximately KRW 8.9 billion.
Transaction volume increased 30% yearly, which can be attributed to expanded product categories and the recruitment of professional sellers.
KREAM, a peer-to-peer sneaker trading platform, has expanded into street fashion, luxury goods, and technology devices.
The company recently added pre-owned products to its offerings.
KREAM reported cash equivalents of KRW 55.6 billion and current assets of KRW 86.8 billion, up 20.0% from the previous year.
