KT and Palantir Partner on AI Transformation in South Korea
Seoul, South Korea—KT Corp (NYSE: KT) has partnered strategically with Palantir Technologies Inc (NYSE: PLTR) to accelerate its artificial intelligence transformation business in South Korea.
The agreement, finalized in the United States on March 12, makes KT the first South Korean member of Palantir's Worldwide Partner Ecosystem, a network of business and technology partners.
Palantir, an S&P 500 constituent, specializes in software platforms that support decision-making through data integration and analysis for government and corporate clients.
The company is known for its security technology that optimizes AI systems in operational environments.
The partnership focuses on four collaboration areas: joint business targeting the domestic AI transformation market, mainly financial services; cooperation on KT's Secure Public Cloud platform; development of a localized AI Platform Bootcamp program; and employee training in AI and data capabilities.
KT's Secure Public Cloud platform will integrate with Palantir's solutions to create a secure environment for AI services.
This platform offers enhanced security compared to standard public cloud offerings while maintaining operational efficiency for AI implementations.
The companies plan to adapt Palantir's AI Platform Bootcamp for the Korean market.
The training program, which ran approximately 1,300 sessions in the United States last year, provides hands-on experience with Palantir's solutions.
KT will also implement Palantir software internally to optimize its business operations and will deploy technical personnel to work with Palantir's engineering teams.
