LG to Unveil Smart Indoor Garden System at CES 2025
Seoul, South Korea—LG Electronics will unveil a new floor-standing indoor gardening appliance at CES 2025.
The appliance features enhanced growing capacity and dual-purpose lighting functionality.
The device combines a modern floor lamp design with automated plant cultivation capabilities, expanding LG's home gardening product line.
The appliance accommodates up to twenty plants and supports four seed kits simultaneously.
The system includes a 1.5-gallon water tank, nearly doubling the capacity of LG's previous 0.8-gallon model.
This more extensive reservoir extends the time between refills and enables week-long autonomous operation.
The appliance integrates two distinct lighting systems: downward-facing LED growing lights with five intensity settings for plant cultivation and upward-facing ambient lighting for evening illumination.
Height-adjustable light fixtures allow for the cultivation of taller plant varieties.
LG has incorporated smart technology features into its ThinQ mobile application, which enables remote plant growth monitoring, lighting adjustment, and cultivation schedule management.
The company will also introduce a complementary nature-inspired side table model at CES 2025, according to Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Home Appliance Solution Company.
The new gardening appliances will be displayed at LG's booth (#15004) at the Las Vegas Convention Center during CES 2025, scheduled for January 7-10.
