LINE Yahoo Introduces AI-Powered Search Results and Chat Feature

Tokyo, Japan - LINE Yahoo Co., Ltd. has launched an AI-generated answer feature for its "Yahoo! Search" platform and a chat function for in-depth information exploration.

The new features aim to give users faster access to desired information and enable goal achievement in fewer steps. 

AI-generated answers will appear in search results for how-to queries and definition searches, with plans to expand the range of supported keywords.

Users can access a chat interface for follow-up questions by clicking an "Ask AI additional questions" button. 

The chat feature also suggests related questions to broaden user interests.

LINE Yahoo has been testing these features with select users since October 2023, receiving positive feedback. 

The company plans to add a direct chat option without going through search results.

Previously, LINE Yahoo introduced AI-powered functions such as "AI Tourism Model Course" and "AI Review Summary" to enhance user experience.
