Naver Introduces AI-Generated 'Short Content' for Personalized Trend Discovery
Seoul, South Korea - South Korean internet giant Naver Corp (035420.KS) announced on Friday the launch of 'Short Content,' a new AI-powered content recommendation service.
The service utilizes Naver's 'HyperCLOVA X' AI to analyze popular documents from blogs, influencer content, and posts, extracting key topics and providing summarized information alongside related content.
'Short Content' will initially appear in mobile search results and focus on topics such as sports, broadcasting, travel, fashion, and cooking.
Naver plans to expand the service to include beauty, gaming, and other subjects.
The company aims to enhance the visual appeal of 'Short Content' by combining various multimedia formats with text.
It also intends to refine its personalization technology to provide more tailored content recommendations.
Naver has been expanding the application of generative AI technology across its search functions, including improving document understanding, user intent recognition, and answer summarization.
Choi Jae-ho, head of Naver's Discovery/Search Product Division, stated that the company will continue to introduce features utilizing the latest technologies, including generative AI, to provide an "Ambient AI" experience.
