Rakuten Healthcare App Hits 1.8M Downloads, Boosts User Health
Tokyo, Japan - Rakuten Group Inc's (4755.T) healthcare app "Rakuten Healthcare" has reached 1.8 million downloads two years after its launch, the company announced on Wednesday.

- Despite record-breaking heat, 69% of users achieved an average of 5,000 steps or more daily in July 2024.
- 15.5% of users consistently achieved 5,000 steps or more daily in July.
- 9.6% of users who recorded meals at least once every three days between February and July 2024 lost more than 3 kg.

Rakuten plans to introduce a new "Health Report" function in October 2024 in partnership with Hoken Dojin Frontier Inc.
