Rakuten Launches Data Analytics Platform for Businesses
Tokyo, Japan - Rakuten Group Inc. launched "Rakuten Analytics," a data analysis platform for corporate clients, on Wednesday.
The company leverages its vast statistical data to aid business decision-making.
The platform lets companies connect their data with Rakuten's statistical data assets, enabling customer analysis through an intuitive user interface.
Results can be applied to advertising, marketing initiatives, and product planning.
Rakuten Analytics utilizes "CustomerDNA," a database that uses AI to classify Rakuten users into over 4,000 attributes.
This database categorizes user information based on actual registration data, purchase behavior, and estimates from user actions.
The company plans to integrate Rakuten AI to provide an AI assistant for analyzing results and implementing API connections with marketing tools.
These features support customer acquisition, customer relationship management(CRM), and product development.
Rakuten began trial provision of the platform in April 2024, and the full-scale service will launch on September 25, 2024.
The service will be offered for a fee.
