Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra: Corner-Cleaning Robot Vacuum Launch

Tokyo, Japan - Beijing Roborock Technology Co., Ltd., and SB C&S Corporation announced the launch of the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum cleaner, featuring new corner-cleaning technology and a 5-way automatic dock, set for release on August 23, 2024, in Japan.

The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts extendable side brushes that automatically reach into room corners, addressing a standard limitation of robot vacuums. 

It offers 10,000Pa suction power and a high-speed vibrating mop oscillating up to 4,000 times per minute.

The device includes AI-powered obstacle avoidance, recognizing up to 73 types of objects. 

Its 5-way automatic dock handles mopping, drying, water refilling, dust collection, and detergent dispensing.

Roborock has incorporated pet-friendly features, including remote video monitoring and auto-adjusting suction around pet items. 

The vacuum supports voice commands and can be controlled via a smartphone app.

The S8 MaxV Ultra will be available through Yamada Denki stores and its online platform. 

As of December 2023, Roborock, founded in 2014, had sold over 15.71 million units in more than 170 countries and regions.
