Samsung and Nexon partner on 3D gaming technology for new RPG

Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics (005930. KS) announced a partnership with Nexon Korea and Neople on Monday to develop 3D gaming experiences for the upcoming title 'The First Berserker: Khazan.'

Samsung's Odyssey 3D monitor technology will customize and optimize the game's three-dimensional visual elements during development.

The collaboration enables developers to adjust 3D visuals for characters, backgrounds, and cinematics. 

The partnership implements scenario-specific focal distance modifications to reduce visual overlap issues and enhance clarity during gameplay sequences.

'The First Berserker: Khazan,' a hardcore action role-playing game based on the Dungeon & Fighter Universe franchise, will be released globally on March 28.

Samsung's Odyssey 3D monitor, which received the Best of Innovation award at CES 2024, will launch worldwide in April.
