SoftBank to host AI-focused corporate event in October.

Tokyo, Japan—SoftBank Corp. announced that it will hold its largest corporate event, "SoftBank World 2024," on October 3 and 4. 

The event, now in its 13th year, will focus on the theme "Accelerating AI Revolution: Looking to the Future, Acting Now."

The event will have two parts. On October 3, SoftBank will host an invitation-only event for its corporate clients. 

The following day, October 4, will feature an online event for all registered corporate clients. 

During the event, the company plans to showcase its efforts towards building next-generation social infrastructure for the AI era. 

It will also present case studies on using AI to solve social issues and demonstrate the latest technology applications, focusing on artificial intelligence.

The online event on October 4 will feature a diverse program. 

Attendees can expect a special lecture by SoftBank Group Corp Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son and a keynote speech by SoftBank Corp President and CEO Junichi Miyakawa. 

The program will also include presentations by specialists, sponsoring companies, and SoftBank group companies. 

A special session on "Data Utilization in the AI Era" with AI specialists and special guests is planned. 

SoftBank will offer over 30 lectures and sessions during the online event.

Registration for the October 4 online event is free of charge and will remain open until the day of the event. 

SoftBank Corp has not disclosed expected attendance figures or any potential financial implications of the event.
