SoftBank Unveils AI Document Tool for Enterprise Users
Tokyo, Japan - SoftBank Corp. said on Wednesday that it has developed an artificial intelligence service for document creation and will begin offering it to enterprise customers in spring 2026.
The service, called "Satto Workspace," generates presentation materials through a chat interface where users input their requirements, according to a company statement.
The system produces proposals and business plans by accessing internal data and internet sources.
SoftBank reported that 72.4 percent of its employees spend over one hour daily creating documents, based on an internal survey conducted in March 2025.
The AI system handles information collection, content structuring, and formatting, according to the company.
It generates text and image layouts, with users able to request modifications through chat commands.
The service uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation technology to extract information from company files and internet data, SoftBank stated.
The technology processes ambiguous queries to locate relevant information.
Users can modify individual slides or entire presentations through the chat interface, the company said.
SoftBank said it plans to develop additional generative AI business solutions.
