Seoul, South Korea- Superb AI, a South Korean computer vision AI solutions provider, KRW 13.5 billion ($10.2 million) in Series C funding, bringing its total funding to KRW 49 billion ($36.9 million).
The funding round, led by Doosan Investments, included strategic investments from Hyundai Motor Group, Kakao Investment, and Samsung Next.
Existing backers KT Investment and Premier Partners also participated, demonstrating continued confidence in the firm's growth trajectory.
Superb AI offers an all-in-one platform for developing and managing computer vision AI systems, supporting image, video, and 3D LiDAR data analysis.
The company recently launched an on-premise solution alongside its existing SaaS offering.
The firm, which operates in South Korea, the United States, and Japan, plans to use the new funds to expand its workforce and accelerate growth in the Japanese and U.S. markets.
It aims for an initial public offering by 2026.
Superb AI reported that it has already matched its full-year 2023 revenue in the first half of 2024, targeting over 100% year-on-year growth.
The investment comes as demand for industrial AI solutions continues to rise globally.
Superb AI plans to leverage its new strategic partnerships to strengthen its position across various sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, defense, and logistics.
