South Korean Gaming Studio Nirvanana Secures Series A Funding
Seoul, South Korea—Game developer Nirvanana has raised Series A funding from Altos Ventures, Smilegate Investment, and HRZ to develop its debut game project, the company said on Monday.
The funds will support the development of ZETA, a character-driven strategy PvP (Player vs. Player) game scheduled for release in 2026.
Founded in 2022, Nirvanana formed a strategic partnership with global publisher Krafton before securing Series A funding.
"This investment from Altos Ventures enables us to accelerate ZETA's development and deliver fresh, innovative experiences to gamers worldwide," said Nirvanana CEO Kim Nam-Seok.
ZETA will blend third-person action with strategic gameplay.
It will feature cross-platform play across console, PC, and cloud systems and compatibility for various input devices.
An Altos Ventures representative said the firm invested based on Nirvanana's vision and game development capabilities, citing the company's potential in the global market.
The game studio plans to expand its team to support ZETA's development, focusing on recruiting top-tier talent.
