Yanolja Q1 GMV soars 188% to KRW 7 trillion
Seoul, South Korea - Yanolja's first-quarter transaction volume increased 188.2% to KRW 7 trillion (US$4.76 billion) from a year earlier, the company reported on Thursday.
Markets outside South Korea accounted for 74% of total transaction volume, up from approximately 24% in the same period last year.
The company reported consolidated revenue of KRW 218.2 billion (US$148.3 million) for the January-March period, a 9.6% year-on-year increase, while adjusted EBITDA reached KRW 23.4 billion (US$15.9 million).
Revenue in the enterprise solutions segment rose 32.9% to KRW 68.5 billion (US$46.6 million), driven by the company's cloud-based transaction, subscription, and data solutions.
Revenue from AI-based data solutions grew by more than 133% compared to the same quarter last year.
The segment's adjusted EBITDA increased 58.0% to KRW 12.5 billion (US$8.5 million), with a margin of 18.2%.
Consumer platform revenue increased 1.1% to KRW 157.9 billion (US$107.3 million), with adjusted EBITDA of KRW 20.6 billion (US$14.0 million).
A company representative said the performance was driven by global network expansion and growth in AI data solutions, despite weakened global travel demand stemming from unstable international conditions, including U.S. tariff issues.
