SEOUL, South Korea - Daangn has introduced a direct purchase function that combines payment and delivery services for second-hand goods transactions, the company said.

The function operates when sellers activate a direct purchase option during listing creation.

Buyers can then complete payment and receive courier delivery without needing to meet the sellers in person.

Sellers input contact details, shipping addresses, item weight, and delivery information before courier collection. Buyers provide delivery addresses and pay amounts that include shipping fees.

The service initially covers clothing, accessories, beauty, and cosmetics. Expansion to additional categories depends on user demand, according to the company.

CJ Logistics provides delivery services under an agreement with Daangn Pay, established prior to the function launch.

The companies plan to cooperate on local logistics and delivery services.

Transactions are processed through Daangn Pay's payment system.

Sellers receive payment after buyers confirm receipt of the item.

The service uses shipping labels that do not display personal information of either party.

The company noted that users had requested options to trade without direct meetings and to purchase items immediately.

A company representative said user trading patterns and demands have become more varied.

The representative stated that the direct purchase function is intended for non-contact trading situations.

The company stated it plans ongoing service improvements focused on user protection and convenience.
