KT Palantir CEOs Meet in Seoul on AI Platform Deal

Seoul, South Korea - KT Corp and Palantir Technologies Inc said on Tuesday their chief executives met in Seoul to review platform implementation results and discuss distribution plans.

KT CEO Young Shub Kim and Palantir CEO Alex Karp met at KT's Gwanghwamun building, according to the companies.

KT became Palantir's designated "premium partner" in South Korea in March.

KT hosted a forum attended by executives from Korean Air, Meritz Financial Group, LS Electric, and POSCO Holdings during Karp's visit, the company said.

KT has implemented Palantir Foundry and AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) in select internal units using cloud infrastructure, according to the statement.

The platforms analyze enterprise data using artificial intelligence, the company said.

The companies plan to offer a service allowing Korean clients to use the Palantir platform in cloud environments, the statement said.

The service will include security features for financial and public sector clients handling sensitive data.

Palantir will operate a retail location in Seoul's Seongsu-dong district from Oct. 14 to Oct. 15, offering branded merchandise, the company said. KT said it is supporting the event.

Kim stated that the collaboration would support AI and data-driven decision-making across various industrial sectors.

Karp said the partnership represents progress toward cloud-based data utilization with enhanced security and industry-specific innovation.
