LINE Yahoo debuts same-day interview tool for market research

LINE Yahoo introduces Quick Interview tool offering instant access to 7M research panel for same-day market research interviews

Tokyo, Japan - LINE Yahoo Inc. launched Quick Interview, a self-service online interview tool. 

The tool operates within LINE Research, the company's smartphone-based research platform that connects to LINE's 97 million users as of September 2024.

Quick Interview provides access to LINE Research's panel of over 7 million monitors as of January 2025. 

The system generates automatic Zoom URLs for conducting interviews and incorporates OpenAI's API for AI-powered transcription and summarization of interview content.

The platform requires users to complete interviews with a minimum of three participants. 

The service pricing structure sets rates at JPY 28,000 (US$180.38) per 30-minute Interview and JPY 50,000 (US$322.10) per 60-minute Interview, excluding tax. 

Upon distribution of recruitment surveys, a minimum usage fee of JPY 84,000 (US$541.13), excluding tax, applies.

The monitor panel significantly represents younger demographics, with 50 percent of participants aged between 10 and 29. 

The service operates through LINE Research's Lite Course account system, which requires a business registration and screening process that can take up to seven business days.

The tool integrates survey creation, participant recruitment, and interview scheduling functionalities within a single platform interface, enabling same-day interview execution. 

LINE Research maintains its position as a smartphone-focused research platform. 

As of January 2025, its panel of over 7 million active monitors supports business development and marketing activities.
