LY Corporation Adds AI Feature to Yahoo Ads Platform

LY Corporation launches AI-powered quick link asset generation for Yahoo Ads Search Ads platform, offering automated content creation for advertisers.

Tokyo, Japan — LY Corporation has launched an artificial intelligence feature for its Yahoo Ads Search Ads platform that automatically generates quick link asset content, the company announced Thursday.

The function, which became operational on August 6, produces titles and descriptions for quick link assets using the final destination URLs provided by advertisers, according to LY Corporation.

Quick link assets display supplementary links beneath main advertisements, directing users to specific pages within a website.

LY Corporation stated that advertisers can edit the AI-generated suggestions before publication.

The company noted that this function operates in conjunction with previously released artificial intelligence features for advertisement text and keyword generation.

Access is limited to 30 uses per account per month, with usage suspended once the limits are reached, and the suspension remains in effect until the following month, the company stated.

Advertisers input destination URLs through the management tool interface to generate suggested content.

The system uses OpenAI's API and requires compliance with LY Corporation's terms of service and OpenAI's usage policies, according to the company.

LY Corporation stated it does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated content.

The company said that generated content does not ensure advertising review approval and must meet advertising standards.

LY Corporation disclaimed responsibility for issues related to AI-generated advertising content, except in cases of intentional misconduct or negligence.

Previously, advertisers manually created quick link asset titles, descriptions, and URLs.

The quick link feature allows the display of links to website pages other than the main advertisement destination.

LY Corporation described the addition as part of its broader effort to implement artificial intelligence capabilities across its services for businesses of all sizes.
