New York, NY - MarqVision, a developer of artificial intelligence software for intellectual property enforcement, announced on Tuesday that it raised $48 million in Series B funding.

Peak XV Partners, HSG, Salesforce Ventures, and Coral Capital led the round, bringing total funding to $90 million, according to a company statement.

The company stated that its software enables brands to identify counterfeit products, unauthorized sellers, and trademark violations across digital platforms.

MarqVision combines automated detection technology with legal enforcement services, according to the statement.

MarqVision also announced a redesign of its brand identity in conjunction with the funding round. The company did not disclose revenue figures, customer numbers, or specific use of proceeds.

The company plans to host a conference, IPx LA, on September 29-30 at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The event will include product demonstrations and industry discussions, according to MarqVision.

MarqVision states that it serves brands operating across multiple online marketplaces and digital channels. The company described current brand protection methods as primarily reactive rather than preventive.

The funding round follows what the company described as an increase in threats to brand integrity from counterfeiting and unauthorized sales on digital platforms.
