MyRealTrip Launches Resell Market for Travel Products

Seoul, South Korea — MyRealTrip announced Thursday the launch of a secondary marketplace for unused travel products.

The service, called Resell Market, manages verification, buyer-seller matching, and payment processing for listed items, according to the company.

Eligible products include accommodations, tours, admission tickets, and mileage credits in PIN or QR code formats. Flight tickets are excluded.

The company reported receiving more than 200 seller requests during a two-week trial period prior to launch.

MyRealTrip stated it uses its user database to match listed products with buyers. The company said items purchased from other platforms can also be listed.

Chief Executive Donggun Lee said that the Resell Market formalizes travel product transfers that were previously conducted as person-to-person transactions.

MyRealTrip reported having 10 million registered users and 5 million monthly active users.

The company operates an online travel agency that offers flights, accommodations, and tour bookings.
