Naver Adds Chanel Beauty to Luxury Platform

Naver Corp launches Chanel beauty store on High-End platform as luxury cosmetics sales grow 29%. Store offers lipsticks, perfumes, skincare with free shipping.

Seoul, South Korea - Naver Corp announced on Thursday the launch of a Chanel beauty brand store on its luxury goods platform High-End.

The store, which went live on Jan. 19, will stock Chanel's beauty products, including lipsticks, cushion compacts, perfumes, skincare items, and seasonal limited edition collections.

Products will be displayed through visual-focused brand content.

All purchases include free shipping, and customers can access Chanel's gift-wrapping service and enroll in Chanel Code, the brand's membership program, to receive member benefits.

Naver has operated a luxury category since 2020 with emphasis on premium beauty brands.

Luxury beauty transaction volume on the platform rose 29 percent in 2024 compared to the previous year, while the number of luxury beauty brands has grown approximately fivefold since the category's introduction, the company said.

Cho Jae-hee, leader of Naver's trend fashion business team, attributed increased collaboration with luxury brands to the platform's infrastructure, AI recommendation technology and data analysis capabilities.
