Seoul, South Korea - Naver Corp and Kurly Inc. launched an online grocery service called "KurlyNmart" through Naver's e-commerce platform, the companies said.

The service provides next-morning delivery for orders placed before 11 p.m.

Customers can order fresh foods, daily necessities, and products from the combined inventories of both companies.

Naver Plus membership subscribers receive free delivery on purchases exceeding KRW 20,000 (approximately US$14.30), while new customers receive a KRW 3,000 (approximately US$2.15) discount coupon, the companies said.

The service uses Kurly's cold-chain delivery network, eliminating the need for customers to select specific delivery time slots.

Available products include Kurly's private-label items and goods from Naver Smart Store merchants, such as "Yoo Hye-gwang Pork Cutlet" and "Song Jju House," the companies said.

Beginning September 15, the service will offer Kurly's antibiotic-free eggs at KRW 100 (US$0.07) and 50 percent discounts on select products, including instant tteokbokki and Korean beef soup.

Household items such as tissues and wet wipes will be offered at reduced prices.

The partnership includes logistics operations.

Kurly's subsidiary, Kurly Next Mile, joined Naver's Fulfillment Alliance on Sept. 1, providing dawn delivery options for fresh food merchants on Naver Smart Store.

Naver CEO Soo Yeon Choi said the collaboration combines "Naver's search technology, personalized recommendation systems, and large-scale marketing effectiveness with Kurly's product sourcing, grocery-specialized curation, and delivery capabilities."

The companies said they plan to develop exclusive products and pricing arrangements through partnerships with third-party brands.
