SEOUL, South Korea — Naver Cloud said on Monday it had added a feature called AI Studio to its Naver Works workplace platform.

According to the company, the tool enables users to build AI assistants using data from internal messages and bulletin boards.

The assistants can be configured to search messages and draft reports, the company said.

Naver Cloud also updated additional platform functions, according to the company.

The mail feature now includes sentence editing, schedule suggestions, and reply drafts, according to Naver Cloud.

The Drive function can summarize files and translate content into English, Japanese, and Chinese, the company said.

Naver Works has been the top-selling business chat service in Japan for eight consecutive years, according to data from Fuji Chimera Research Institute cited by the company.

The platform has 590,000 corporate customers and more than 5.8 million users, Naver Cloud said. The company recently entered the Taiwan market, according to its statement.

Naver Cloud's Clova Note function, released one year ago, has 150,000 customers in South Korea and Japan, the company said.

Some users in Japan reported reducing the time spent preparing meeting notes from 2 hours to 30 minutes, according to the company.

A company survey of Korean users in March 2025 found that more than 80 percent reported time savings, and more than 88 percent said meeting productivity improved.

Naver Works was selected for a government pilot program, according to the company.

The Ministry of Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety began a trial in late November, according to Naver Cloud.
