Seoul, South Korea - Naver D2SF, Naver's startup accelerator, announced Tuesday that it has invested in two artificial intelligence startups: Khameleon and Anyware Robotics.

The investments are in companies developing automated solutions for industries with labor shortages and high labor costs.

Khameleon, established in 2024, is developing humanoid robots for hotel housekeeping in North America.

The company plans to begin field testing a bathroom-cleaning prototype in the second quarter of 2026, with plans to expand to other housekeeping tasks.

According to the company, its hardware is designed to operate independently of hotel network infrastructure.

Khameleon's founding team includes engineers with experience in computer vision and teleoperation at Tesla, Apple, Meta, and Bear Robotics.

The startup has identified potential clients in the United States and China.

Anyware Robotics, founded in 2023, develops robots for logistics operations, including truck unloading, palletizing, and package transport.

The company uses real-data training to optimize the speed and operational range of its hardware, which is designed to allow a single robot to perform multiple logistical tasks.

Anyware Robotics is working with industrial robotics manufacturer FANUC and logistics provider Saddle Creek

Its founders have backgrounds in mechanical engineering and imitation learning from FANUC, Boston Dynamics, and Amazon Robotics.

"Khameleon and Anyware Robotics are robotics startups focusing on sites with high automation demand," said Sang-hwan Yang, head of Naver D2SF, in a statement provided by the company.

Naver D2SF said it plans to continue investing in the physical AI sector.

The accelerator's previous portfolio companies include CloBot, a publicly listed robot software developer, and Summer Robotics, a manufacturer of vision sensors for manufacturing facilities.
