Rakuten Travel Adopts MiiTel Voice AI for Consulting

TOKYO, Japan — Rakuten Travel, an online accommodation booking platform operated by Rakuten Group Inc., announced the integration of MiiTel, a voice analysis software developed by RevComm Inc., into its consulting operations for partner hotels.

The software analyzes business conversations conducted via phone calls, web conferences, and in-person meetings.

Rakuten Travel stated that the tool is intended to identify communication patterns among consultants and reduce time spent on administrative tasks, enabling staff to manage more properties.

The company assigns dedicated consultants to registered hotels nationwide.

These consultants advise hotel operators on customer acquisition and revenue, utilizing platform marketing data.

According to Rakuten Travel, the integration aims to standardize consulting practices and provide more detailed support across a larger portfolio of facilities.

MiiTel is produced by RevComm Inc., a Tokyo-based software company led by Chief Executive Takeshi Aida.

The company's products, including MiiTel Phone, MiiTel Meetings, and MiiTel Synapse Copilot, process voice data to generate customer and operational insights.

RevComm received the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award at the Japan Startup Awards in August 2025.

The company was also recognized in the AI category at CES 2025 and was included in the Forbes AI 50 list in 2023.
