Samsung Shows 130-Inch TV, Appliances at CES 2026

Samsung Electronics presents 130-inch Micro RGB TV, Family Hub refrigerator, smart appliances at CES 2026 event in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS, NV — Samsung Electronics presented television and home appliance products on Sunday at the Wynn Las Vegas during CES 2026.

TM Roh, chief executive, spoke at the event, which ran through Jan. 7.

Samsung said it will release a 130-inch television using Micro RGB technology with microscopic red, green, and blue diodes.

The television includes Vision AI Companion, a voice control system that provides content recommendations.

Vision AI Companion will be available on multiple television types, including Micro LED, Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, and UHD models, the company said.

Functions include AI Soccer Mode Pro and AI Sound Controller Pro for audio adjustment.

The company announced two Wi-Fi speakers, Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. Samsung also listed the OLED S95H television and the Freestyle+ portable projector.

Samsung said its 2026 televisions will support HDR10+ ADVANCED and include Eclipsa Audio. Tizen OS will receive seven years of software upgrades, according to the company.

The company announced five Odyssey gaming monitors, including the Odyssey G9 with 6K 3D, the Odyssey G6, and three Odyssey G8 models.

Cheolgi Kim, executive vice president and head of Digital Appliances, said SmartThings had 430 million users as of December 2025.

The Family Hub refrigerator includes AI Vision built with Google Gemini for tracking food items, Samsung said. The Family Hub has received 10 CES Innovation Awards, the company said.

The refrigerator includes several features: "What's for Today?" provides recipe recommendations based on the contents of the refrigerator.

SmartThings Food displays recipe instructions. Video to Recipe converts cooking videos into instructions.

FoodNote provides weekly food usage reports. Now Brief displays information widgets. Voice ID distinguishes between family members.

The company announced the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo washing and drying unit. The Bespoke AI AirDresser uses air and steam to remove wrinkles.

The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra vacuum uses a Qualcomm Dragon Wing processor and an Active Stereo 3D Sensor. The device includes a camera for navigation and monitoring.

Samsung announced a partnership with Hartford Steam Boiler to offer insurance premium reductions for users with SmartThings-connected smart appliances.

Greg M. Barats, president and chief executive of HSB, spoke at the event. The program was tested in the United States last year and is expanding to additional states and regions, Samsung said.

Praveen Raja, vice president and head of Digital Health at Samsung Research America, described health monitoring using wearable devices.

Samsung said it is researching dementia detection through monitoring of mobility, speech, and engagement patterns.

Samsung said Knox and Knox Matrix provide security for connected devices.
