Samsung to Add Google Photos to 2026 TV Models

Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics said on Monday it will integrate Google Photos into its television lineup beginning in 2026.

Google Photos features will be introduced in phases.

A feature called Memories will be available starting in March 2026 and will be exclusive to Samsung televisions for six months, the company said.

Two additional features, Create and Personalized Results, will be added in the second half of 2026.

Memories will organize photos by people, locations, and events.

Create will use Nano Banana, an image generation model from Google DeepMind, for templates and editing.

Personalized Results will display photos based on topics, the statement said.

The service will work with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion software.

Photos will appear in features called Daily+ and Daily Board, Samsung said.

Users must sign in with a Google account to access photos and videos stored in Google Photos.

The Memories feature must be enabled in Google Photos settings.

Features and availability will vary by model and region, Samsung said.
