Superb AI Raises $9.5M Pre-IPO, Eyes 2026 Listing.

SEOUL, South Korea - Superb AI, a company that makes image analysis software, raised KRW 14 billion (US$9.5 million) in pre-IPO funding and said it plans to list shares in 2026.

Hanwha Asset Management's venture fund and POSCO Technology Investment participated in the round.

The company has raised a total of KRW 63 billion (US$42.7 million), Superb AI said Sunday.

The company makes software that analyzes images, videos, and 3D LiDAR data.

Its products include Superb Platform and ZERO, which the company describes as a vision foundation model for industrial use.

Previous investors include Doosan, Hyundai Motor, Samsung Electronics, KT, Kakao, and HL Group.

According to the company, some investors use the software in manufacturing and logistics facilities.

Superb AI operates in South Korea, the United States, and Japan.

The company said it has about 100 clients, including contracts with Toyota in Japan and a partnership with Nippon Steel.

Superb AI said it is collaborating with Nvidia on video surveillance technology.

Hanwha Asset Management said the technology can be applied in manufacturing, aerospace, and defense. 

POSCO Technology Investment said it used the software before investing.

The company said it will use the funds for technology development, hiring, and sales expansion.

Chief executive Hyun-soo Kim said investors are converting into clients and the company plans to pursue an IPO in 2026.
