SEOUL, South Korea — Table ordering system provider t'order announced Thursday the release of a beta version of t'orderGPT, an artificial intelligence tool designed for restaurant management through the KakaoTalk messaging application.

The service enables operators to modify menus—such as renaming products, updating images, and marking items as sold out—using natural language commands.

The system processes instructions in less than 3 seconds, handles multiple commands simultaneously, and does not require a separate application installation.

According to t'order, the service integrates with major domestic point-of-sale systems.

All system modifications require user confirmation, according to the company.

The software presents a list of options when encountering similarly named items and includes a 30-day rollback function to reverse unintended changes.

During the beta phase, selected point-of-sale users are testing sales and order inquiry features.

The artificial intelligence model was trained on eight years of t'order's operational and customer service data.

Future versions are expected to include customer relationship management and sales analytics reports, available at no cost to establishments that do not use t'order's physical hardware terminals.

Chief Executive Kwon Seong-taek said the company has invested more than KRW 100 billion (approximately $66 million) in AI infrastructure and research and development to build a cloud ecosystem.
