Toss Q2 Revenue Hits KRW 668B, Posts US$42M Net Profit

Seoul, South Korea - Toss reported second-quarter consolidated revenue of KRW 668 billion (US$493 million), a 41% increase from the year-earlier period on a constant currency basis.

The company reported an operating profit of KRW 84 billion (approximately US$62 million) and a net profit of KRW 57 billion (approximately US$42 million) for the three months ended June 30.

Toss said this continued margin expansion following what it described as its first full-year net profitability in 2024.

Toss operates a mobile application and payments network that processes transactions across mobile, online, and offline channels.

The company stated that its services include money transfers, payments, banking, stock trading, credit score management, and tax services.

The company reported more than 30 million registered users, with approximately 25 million monthly active users. This user base represents over 60% of South Korea's population.

The company attributed the revenue increase to strong user engagement and an expanding business customer base.

Toss serves business clients, including advertisers, e-commerce sellers, financial institutions, and merchants.

Toss reported maintaining profitability while investing in artificial intelligence initiatives, machine learning development, new products, and global expansion.
