SEOUL, South Korea — Wadiz, a crowdfunding platform, reported an operating profit for the second half of 2025 and recorded positive annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), the company said Tuesday.

The company reported 2025 annual revenue of KRW 44.7 billion (US$30.96 million), a 3 percent increase from the previous year. Annual EBITDA reached approximately KRW 1.8 billion (US$1.25 million).

The figure represents a KRW 33.1 billion (US$22.93 million) improvement from a KRW 31.3 billion (US$21.68 million) deficit in 2022.

According to the company, it reached monthly profitability in November 2023 and quarterly profitability in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Wadiz attributed the financial performance to revenue growth in its core segments and corporate cost reductions.

Advertising revenue increased 10 percent year-on-year to KRW 13.2 billion (US$9.14 million), accounting for 30 percent of total revenue.

Direct sales, including the 'Wadiz Edition' brand, rose 10 percent to KRW 6.2 billion (US$4.29 million).

The company reduced selling, general, and administrative (SG&A) expenses by 10 percent year over year by implementing artificial intelligence systems.

Following the launch of a global service in May 2025 and the opening of overseas offices, Wadiz said its monthly active users (MAU) increased 2.3 times year-on-year to 1.2 million in January 2026.

Overseas traffic accounted for 40 percent of the total, with cross-border funding transactions rising 8.3 times between the May launch and January.

The global platform targets international demand for Korean beauty, food, and content products.

Wadiz said it has completed internal governance restructuring, accounting preparations, and regulatory reviews to accelerate its initial public offering (IPO) process.
