SEOUL, South Korea — WIRobotics has been chosen for the second cohort of the Physical AI Fellowship, a virtual initiative managed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startups and NVIDIA Inception.

The 2026 cohort features nine startups from sectors including agriculture, construction, industrial automation, and logistics.

WIRobotics is the only participant dedicated to humanoid robotics applications.

Under the program, WIRobotics aims to advance its humanoid robot platform, ALLEX, for deployment in industrial, logistics, and service settings.

The ALLEX system integrates hand-arm mechanisms engineered for manipulation and physical interaction, powered by artificial intelligence.

The fellowship offers each participating company $200,000 in AWS credits, access to compute resources, and technical support from scientists at the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center.

Participants also gain access to NVIDIA's physical AI stack—including the NVIDIA Isaac frameworks and Cosmos World Foundation models—along with testing facilities and network resources via MassRobotics.

Before developing the ALLEX platform, WIRobotics introduced a personal walking-assist robot powered by a single motor.

The device has been recognized with four CES Innovation Awards.
