Yanolja and Citi Partner on Global Travel Payment System

Shenzhen, China - Yanolja said Friday it has expanded its partnership with Citi to develop a global payment and settlement system for the travel sector.

The agreement, formalized at the Citi Asia Digital Leaders Summit 2026 in Shenzhen, China, broadens a 2021 collaboration between Yanolja and Citibank Korea into a global initiative using Citi's international financial network.

The partnership focuses on four areas: business-to-business settlement efficiency and transparency, application programming interface-based automated payments, artificial intelligence for financial risk management, and global fund management infrastructure.

According to Yanolja, the initiative aims to automate cross-border payment processes for travel operators.

Yanolja will supply its travel data and software solutions, while Citi will provide the financial network.
