Yanolja Q3 Revenue Up 12.8% to KRW 298.3B

SEOUL, South Korea — Yanolja, which is backed by the SoftBank Vision Fund, reported third-quarter revenue of KRW 298.3 billion (US$226.1 million), an increase of 12.8 percent from the year-earlier period.

Global aggregate transaction volume totaled KRW 11.9 trillion (US$9.0 billion), up 25.7% year-on-year, the company said in a statement.

Approximately 78% of transaction volume originated from markets outside South Korea.

Transaction volume in the EMEA region increased by more than 36 percent year over year, the company stated.

The Enterprise Solutions division recorded transaction volume of KRW 10.4 trillion (US$7.9 billion), up 31.3 percent, and revenue of KRW 102.9 billion (US$78.0 million), up 9.1 percent. Adjusted EBITDA for the segment was KRW 31.5 billion (US$23.9 million), representing a 30.6 percent margin.

Within Enterprise Solutions, revenue from SaaS and data solutions reached KRW 29.6 billion (US$22.4 million), a 53 percent increase from the prior-year quarter.

The Consumer Platform division reported revenue of KRW 211 billion (US$159.8 million), up 15.6 percent, and adjusted EBITDA of KRW 9.4 billion (US$7.1 million), a 4.5 percent margin.

Consolidated adjusted EBITDA was KRW 31.3 billion (US$23.7 million). Operating profit totaled KRW 12.8 billion (US$9.7 million), down 28.3% year on year.

A company representative attributed the third-quarter results to growth across global markets, according to the statement.

Yanolja provides cloud-based hospitality software in approximately 200 countries and operates consumer travel booking platforms.
