LINE Healthcare Partners with Nippon Pharmaceutical to Offer Online Medication Guidance

Source: LINE

LINE Healthcare has partnered with NIHON CHOUZAI to enable the company to offer online medication guidance through its “LINE Doctor” service.

The service, available to LINE users, allows patients to book medical appointments, receive treatment via video call and make payments through the LINE app.

This eliminates the need for patients to download any additional apps and thus enhances the user experience.

The partnership will also enable LINE Doctor to expand its services to include prescription drug delivery nationwide, starting December 2022.

The service aims to alleviate the medical pressures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and seasonal influenza by providing patients with an easy and convenient way to access medical treatment and medication.

The service is expected to be in high demand as people look for ways to avoid crowded hospitals and clinics, which can put them at risk of infection.

The service is also designed to be highly accessible, regardless of the distance to the medical institution or pharmacy.

This is expected to be particularly beneficial for patients who live in remote or rural areas where access to healthcare is often limited.

The partnership with NIHON CHOUZAI, which operates dispensing pharmacies in 47 prefectures across the country, will allow LINE Doctor to strengthen its system of online medical treatment and delivery service of medicines.

The company’s network of pharmacies will be leveraged to provide online medical treatment and medication guidance services that are more convenient for patients.
