Korea Blockchain Week 2024 Concludes with Record Attendance, Showcasing Web3 Growth

Seoul, South Korea- Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2024, Asia's premier Web3 event, concluded its seventh edition with a record-breaking attendance of over 17,000 participants, marking a 70% increase from the previous year, organizers announced on Wednesday.

The event, founded by Web3 ecosystem builder FACTBLOCK and co-hosted by Hashed, featured over 300 speakers at its flagship IMPACT conference. 

Attendees engaged in more than 130-panel discussions, keynotes, and fireside chats across four stages: Sui Stage, Movement Stage, Institutional Stage, and Forbes Web3 Stage.

Seon-ik Jeon, CEO of FACTBLOCK and founder of KBW, said,

Official partners, including Sui, Movement Labs, and BRV Capital Management, supported the conference. 

BitGo and Hana Financial Group served as official institutional partners, while companies such as Aptos, Tron, and SK Telecom's ALEO were among the title sponsors.

In addition to the main conference, over 300 side events took place across Seoul, offering further networking and collaboration opportunities.

The success of KBW 2024 underscores Korea's growing importance in the global blockchain landscape. 

Organizers have announced plans to return in 2025 to solidify South Korea's role as a leader in Web3 innovation.
