Seoul, South Korea - The travel tech startup MyRealTrip has reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2024.

The company achieved its highest quarterly performance, marking its first profitable quarter since inception.

MyRealTrip's transaction volume reached KRW371.6 billion (US$267.5 million) in Q2 2024, a 77% increase from the previous quarter.

The startup posted an operating profit exceeding KRW500 million (US$360,000).

Growth across all business segments, including air travel, accommodation, activities, and children's services, drove the company's performance.

MyRealTrip's newly launched MyPack service and expanding B2B operations contributed significantly to the results.

The B2B sector experienced notable growth, with Q2 transaction volume increasing more than 2.5 times compared to Q1.

Approximately 100 companies, including Samsung Electronics, Nexon, and Nongshim, currently utilize MyRealTrip's B2B services.

These services encompass corporate welfare malls, business travel, and MICE solutions.

MyPack, a personalized travel product launched in March based on data from 8.3 million customers, has recorded a monthly GMV of KRW2.5 billion (US$1.8 million).

CEO Donggun Lee attributed the results to consistently securing new growth engines.

He stated plans to further solidify the company's position as a travel super app by strengthening its competitiveness in the global market.
