Naver to Launch AI-Powered Shopping App in First Half 2025

Seoul, South Korea—Naver Corp (035420. KS) announced plans to launch an AI-powered shopping application, "Naver Plus Store," in the first half of 2025. 

The application will integrate shopping search, artificial intelligence, and personalized recommendations.

The company launched its web version in beta on October 30, featuring AI technology for personalized product and promotion recommendations.

The new platform will introduce an "AI Shopping Recommendation" beta service in 2025, designed to guide users through their shopping journey from search to purchase.

Head of Shopping Division Yoonsook Lee told the Team Naver Conference "DAN24" in Seoul that the platform aims to provide personalized shopping experiences for 50 million potential users.

Naver will launch "Naver Delivery" in 2024, introducing various delivery options, including one-hour delivery, dawn delivery, and scheduled installation services for furniture and appliances.

The company will start a Netflix partnership for Naver Plus membership subscribers on November 26, with a Socar partnership planned for 2025.

Naver Executive said the company will expand its alliance-based membership and logistics services while enhancing personalized shopping experiences through AI technology.
