Samsung and British Gas Partner on UK Energy Management

Seoul, South Korea - Samsung Electronics (KRX: 005930) announced a new collaboration with British Gas to help homeowners better manage their energy consumption. 

The partnership integrates Samsung's SmartThings Energy platform with British Gas' PeakSave incentive program in the UK.

SmartThings Energy's Auto Demand Response feature automatically adjusts appliance operating modes during periods of peak electricity demand. 

British Gas customers can shift usage and earn rewards through the PeakSave program. 

Methods include activating AI Energy Mode to reduce consumption, turning off compatible appliances, and adjusting temperatures on supported thermostats and heat pumps.
