SNOW's AI Avatar Creation Service Gains Popularity

Source: SNOW

SNOW has seen its AI avatar creation service gain popularity, with over 200,000 users signing up in just 15 days.

The service, which uses generative AI technology, allows users to create up to 200 images in more than 12 different styles, such as watercolor, film, and art posters, by registering 10 to 20 selfie images.

The company’s AI camera app, SNOW, is available in South Korea.

The service is top-rated among Millenials and Generation Z, who are accustomed to image-based, rather than face-to-face, communication via Messenger or social media.

SNOW plans to launch the service in overseas markets, starting with Japan, which has received a positive response.

The company also plans to add the B612 camera app and introduce local content suitable for each country.

Youngjae Woo, Partnership Lead at SNOW, said the company has quickly adapted to content production changes with smartphone cameras and has created a service that can produce new and diverse content.
