TechTaka Expands Logistics Operations with New Distribution Center

Seoul, South Korea—TechTaka, a logistics platform operator, has relocated its Dongtan logistics center to a larger facility in Nam-Icheon, expanding its warehouse space by 2.5 times to 15,500 square meters to meet growing customer demand, the company said on Thursday.

The expansion follows a threefold increase in shipping volume compared to the previous year, driven by the recent launch of Naver guaranteed delivery and same-day shipping services on its ARGO platform.

According to the company, the new facility features dedicated storage areas for high-value items and specialized clothing racks, along with additional loading docks and automated equipment to reduce product handling time.

TechTaka implemented a continuous inventory transfer system during the move, maintaining uninterrupted operations during the transition to prevent potential revenue loss for its customers.

"We decided to expand our facility to respond to rapidly growing demand more effectively," said TechTaka CEO Soo Young Yang, adding that the company will continue to support stable operations for its clients through systematic warehouse management.

ARGO, launched in 2020, operates six direct and partner logistics centers, including facilities in Dongtan and Incheon. 

The company pioneered domestic shipping pre-compensation policies in the logistics industry and supported client business growth through various solutions, including volume-based storage pricing.
