Korea Startup Forum partners with Chinese startup event S-Tron

Seoul, South Korea / Shanghai, China—Korea Startup Forum, organizer of the global startup festival COMEUP, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chinese startup event S-Tron to establish an international partnership, the organization said on Monday.

The agreement, signed at S-Tron Shanghai 2024, aims to facilitate bilateral growth in Korean-Chinese startup ecosystems through network and knowledge exchange.

Korea Startup Forum plans to invite Chinese startups, investors, and major enterprises selected by S-Tron to COMEUP 2024 in December. 

The partnership will also provide opportunities for global startups to connect with Shanghai's startup ecosystem.

Josh Choi, Executive Director of COMEUP HQ, participated in a panel discussion at S-Tron Shanghai 2024, emphasizing the importance of talent and capital exchange between the two countries.

COMEUP 2024 is scheduled for December 11-12 in Seoul.

Its focus is on expanding global startup participation and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
