Seoul, South Korea — The Korea Startup Forum has announced that the global startup festival "ComeUp 2024" will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on December 11-12, 2024.
The announcement was made during the ComeUp 2024 advisory committee kick-off meeting at Dream Plus Gangnam on May 8th.
The objective of ComeUp 2024 is to reinforce its position as a global startup event by leveraging existing cooperation with the worldwide startup ecosystem.
The event will be condensed to two days, a departure from the previous three-day format, to improve accessibility and participation.
The target audience will be expanded to include prospective entrepreneurs, the general public, startups, and ecosystem stakeholders.
The event will prioritize enhancing the online business matching platform to facilitate networking opportunities for domestic and international participants.
Collaborations with domestic startup competitions will be expanded to showcase selected companies to global spectators.
The advisory committee for ComeUp 2024 comprises 53 members from various fields, including startup and venture industry associations, global and large corporations, and startup CEOs.
A new youth division will be established to incorporate the perspectives of young entrepreneurs in program planning and speaker recruitment.
