SEOUL, South Korea - Korea Startup Forum announced an upgraded acceleration program for its global startup festival COMEUP 2024, introducing three new mentoring initiatives to boost startup growth.

The program includes a credit-based learning system, one-on-one intensive sessions, and mentoring by top-tier investment firms.

Starting August 19, it will offer special lectures on topics such as fundraising, global expansion, and entrepreneurship.

Korea Startup Forum has assembled a panel of industry leaders, including CEOs and partners from prominent firms, as mentors.

The program requires startups to earn at least 13 credits, with benefits for those achieving maximum credits.

COMEUP has expanded its roster of participating investment firms from 13 to 16, including names like Bluepoint and Kakao Ventures.

The festival, scheduled for December 11-12 in Seoul, aims to broaden its audience beyond startups to include pre-entrepreneurs and the general public.

New formats will include showcases for promising startups and job-matching sessions.

Sangwoo Han, Chairman of the COMEUP 2024, expressed anticipation for the startups that will advance to the main and final stages in December through the new mentoring programs.
